AURKA

AURORA-A assay

Aurora kinase A

Synonyms: AIK, ARK1, AurA, BTAK, PPP1R47, “protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 47”, STK7, STK15, STK6

Family: Other

Aurora kinases belong to the serine/threonine subclass of kinases and are involved in the regulation of mitosis1. They show increased expression level in a variety of solid and liquid tumors including lung, liver, breast and pancreatic tumors. Aurora A was shown to be essential for the centrosome and spindle functions2.

Aurora kinase A assay is run on mobility shift microfluidics platform (Caliper), which provides best in industry quality of data. We routinely run services associated with this kinase including: screening, profiling, dose-response studies and kinetic measurements. Please contact us for more information.
