EPHB2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase, which is one of the EPHB receptors that have a single trans-membrane domain and a short cytoplasmic tail and usually recognize transmembrane ephrin-B ligands1. Binding and activation of Eph-receptor family members requires cell-cell interactions2. EPHB2 was shown to be down regulated in colorectal and up regulated in gastric cancers3.
