GRK5 is a receptor kinase and a member of G protein-coupled receptor kinase family, which has been shown to play a critical role in the outcome of a variety of physiological and pathophysiological processes including chemotaxis, signaling, migration, inflammatory gene expression, etc1. GRK5 was shown to play important role in cholinergic responses and inflammation.
