IRAK1

IRAK1 is serine/threonine kinase that regulates various signaling events from Toll-like receptors to transcription factors in inflammatory cells such as macrophages¹. Activation of IRAK1 requires its phosphorylation on threonine 209, followed by recruitment of TRAF6, leading to the activation of transforming growth factor β-activated kinase 1 and mitogen-activated protein kinase.
