KDR assay

Kinase insert domain receptor

Synonyms: CD309, “fetal liver kinase 1”, FLK1, “vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2”, VEGFR, VEGFR2

Family: TK

KDR is a tyrosine kinase receptor for Vascular Endothelial Growth Factors, which functions as a key regulator of angiogenesis1. The induction of angiogenesis is a critical step in tumor progression, and inhibitors of KDR have been demonstrated both to induce tumor regression and reduce metastatic potential in preclinical models.

KDR kinase assay is run on mobility shift microfluidics platform (Caliper), which provides best in industry quality of data. We routinely run services associated with this kinase including: screening, profiling, dose-response studies and kinetic measurements. Please contact us for more information.
