LYNB

LYNB assay

LYNB proto-oncogene

Synonyms: JTK8

Family: TK

LYN is a member of the Src family of intracellular membrane-associated tyrosine kinases.LYN is and has well established functions in hematopoietic cells, and is involved in the transmission of signals from a number of receptors such as B-cell receptor, GM-CSF-receptor, FcER1, Epo- receptor, and c-kit, among others, as well as integrins. Lyn phosphorylates a number of signaling molecules, including the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory/activation motifs on PIR-B/SIRPα and FcRγ, as well as PI-3 kinase, FAK, ras-GAP, PLCγ1/2, HS1, Cbp/ PAG1, STAT5  and MAP kinase1. Lyn has two isoforms LYNA and LYNB with different signaling capacities and differential association with effector molecules.

LYNB kinase assay is run on mobility shift microfluidics platform (Caliper), which provides best in industry quality of data. We routinely run services associated with this kinase including: screening, profiling, dose-response studies and kinetic measurements. Please contact us for more information.
