HIPK1 assay

Homeodomain interacting protein kinase 1

Synonyms: KIAA0630, MGC26642, MGC33446, MGC33548, Myak, Nbak2

Family: CMGC

HIPK1 is a member of homeodomain-interacting protein kinase family. HIPKs interact with a vast range of functional proteins, including not only transcriptional regulators and chromatin modifiers, but also cytoplasmic signal transducers, transmembrane proteins, and SUMO ligase. HIPK1 and HIPK2 have been shown to phosphorylate and activate p53, resulting in the enhancement of p53-dependent transcription, cell growth regulation, and apoptosis initiation upon genotoxic insult1.

HIPK1 kinase assay is run on mobility shift microfluidics platform (Caliper), which provides best in industry quality of data. We routinely run services associated with this kinase including: screening, profiling, dose-response studies and kinetic measurements. Please contact us for more information.
